Newest release

Perfection: A Neighbor from Hell has been released through Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com. It will be available through Apple and several other outlets as soon as I'm able to release it to them.

I really enjoyed getting to know Trevor and Zoe. They were a fun couple to create and I'm actually sad to see that it came to an end. They will make small appearances in two future books that are already in the works. I hope that you enjoy getting to know them as much as I did.

Updates........

A few novels have been keeping me pretty busy lately. Finished Perfection: A Neighbor From Hell novel and I'm holding off on its release right now. At first I was a little nervous about the book, because Jason and Haley are very hard characters to follow, but it didn't take long until I fell in love with Trevor and Zoe. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed writing about them.

The first Sentinel book is more than halfway done now. It's going great, better than I expected and I'm having a lot of fun with it. I'm guessing November for both releases, but the way things are going it may be a lot sooner than that. This book is the starter point for the Immortal series as well.

For those of you have asked, yes Mitch from Playing for Keeps is getting his own book and so is Brad. I enjoyed the characters so much that I couldn't help but imagine a few "What ifs......" Those books will come out in 2012.

The EMS series is still in the works. At this point I'd have to say it will be release in early 2012 with another book that I would like to debut with it. I'm sorry if this inconveniences anyone. I know a few readers have expressed an interest in this series and I apologize for holding it back.

I'm also starting a Anger Management series, which will be released in 2012. I think the book is going to be a great deal of fun to write and I'm looking forward to writing about a character who just doesn't give a damn.

The next Pyte book will hopefully be done by Christmas. I'm working on several right now that I absolutely love, but had to put on the back burner to finish Chris' book.

That's about it from my end of things. I'm working pretty much around the clock. Haven't had time to read in a few days, because I'm loving where Chris' story is going. I'll let you guys know when it's done : )

Where has the summer gone?

It seems like only yesterday my five year old was getting off her bus on the last day of school and I was just starting the second Neighbor From Hell novel. Now I'm on the third and fourth and Chris' book is coming along nicely. His book is taking longer because it's a paranormal novel and it takes a great deal of attention to detail to make sure I set everything up correctly. I'm trying to put as much information in the book as I can about Sentinels, Pytes, Demons and shifters without the book coming off as boring. Right now I'm on chapter 20 of Chris' book, from this point I would have to say there will probably be around 35 chapters so I have a little ways to go. I'm also currently working on several Pyte books. They're a great deal of fun to write and I hope when they're done that they're also enjoyable to read.

Silly silly man

So, my cell phone has been falling apart for months now....literally. Tonight it lost another piece and has decided it will work when it damn well wants to otherwise it ignores me and my calls. Decided it was time to replace the phone or learn how to communicate through smoke signals. Went to the store, looked for the prettiest one with the best deal and said, "Gimme." We brought the phone home. I turned it on and that's pretty much as far as I was able to get with it.

As soon as the customer service woman came on and started asking technical questions.......I panicked and practically threw the phone at my husband, who may have laughed at me until he encountered more problems with activating the phone. Then the man, who works with computers for a living I might add, held the phone out to me and asked if I wanted to handle it.

Now that was just sad........

With a pitying look I wished him all the luck in the world and grabbed myself a tall glass of cold root beer, hey I earned it, and played a few words in an online Scrabble game while he's pacing the house and cursing the new phone. Every now and then he throws me a glare, but I'm actually fine with that as long as I don't have to activate that phone all is good in my world.

New Neighbor From Hell novel

The new Neighbor From Hell novel is just about done. I'm not sure if I'm going to hold off on its release until the first Sentinel book is done. Chris' story is pretty far along, but I wanted to finish this book since it was further along.

An excerpt from the upcoming novel, Perfection: A Neighbor From Hell Novel

"Because you're a pervert? I mean look at the weird obsession you have with my bottom," she said, making a tsking sound and sounding a lot more relaxed.
"That may be so, but you still have a body that I can't seem to keep my hands off of." With his arm wrapped around her he pulled her up his body until he could kiss her. He felt her melt in his arms so he took advantage by gently prying the blanket away from her. After a slight hesitation she gave up.
He placed his hand on her stomach. "There's nothing about your body that I don't like," he whispered against her lips.
For a moment she didn't say anything as he pressed kisses along her jaw and throat. He gently guided her onto her back as he gently caressed her stomach and pressed one last kiss against her lips before he pulled back.
She looked so damn embarrassed and defeated that he couldn't stop himself from brushing his lips against hers one last time. "You're beautiful, Zoe," he said, realizing at that moment just how beautiful she really was. From her beautiful soft brown hair to her stubborn little chin she was beautiful.
"No, I'm not," she said with a snort and an eye roll as she averted her eyes.
His eyes narrowed dangerously on her. "Are you calling me a liar?"
"More like delusional," she said with a snort.
"How dare you question my taste, woman?" he demanded. "If I say you're beautiful then you're beautiful so get the hell over it!" he snapped.
"Look, I appreciate the compliment, but-"
"Out," he said, dropping onto his back and folding his arms over his chest as he stubbornly looked away from her.
            "But-"
            "I said out, woman!"
"This is my apartment," Zoe pointed out, sounding close to laughing.
"Then you know where the door is. Now get out, woman, and don't you dare come back until you're ready to apologize to me," he said, waving a dismissive hand in the direction of the door.
"Apologize to you? For what?" she asked, sitting up to kneel beside him.
"For what?" he repeated, stunned. "I call you beautiful and you dare to judge my word? For that you may get your beautiful ass out of my sight."
"Uh huh," she said, drawing out the words. "Did you by any chance eat this morning?"
"That has nothing to do with it," he said, sniffing in disdain.
            "Oh, I think it does."
            "Does not."
"Do you want me to go grab you some cereal or something?" she offered.
"Not unless it comes with an apology and groveling."
"Groveling?" she repeated slowly. "Since when is there groveling involved?"
"Since you doubted my word and only offered to make it up to me with cereal. How dare you add insult to injury?" he snapped as he once again gestured for her to leave.
"Don't you think you're overreacting just a little bit here?" she asked, and he could hear the smile in her voice. It pleased him that she was no longer upset, but he was still insulted.
"No, now leave me be, woman," he said, turning his head even more away from her. "I'm no longer speaking with you."
"Fine," she said, sighing heavily as she climbed off the bed, not apologizing or groveling, he noted.
