At least that's what I've heard. Since this is a new website I thought that the best way to kick this off would be with a little confession. So here it is:
Playing for Keeps: A Neighbor from Hell Novel almost wasn't published.
What happened was that I wrote the book, loved the book, but didn't think that anyone else would. I actually considered just keeping it for my own entertainment and building up the series for fun, but then I decided to take a chance. I never thought it would do so well.
Thank you, everyone, for giving this book a chance :)
P.S.
Perfection was a complete accident ;)
So glad you took a chance and published the book! What a wonderful role model for others and especially your kiddos
ReplyDeleteOh man had to sit down to comment!!! Never doubt how talented you are!!! I Loved the neighbor from hell series and I adored the Pyte and Sentinel series!!!! I fell in love with those characters because you portrayed them so well I got to live through them while I read... That's why you are one of my fav authors and im sure many others out there agree!! Please don't stop writing these are priceless! I'll no doubt read them again and again :)
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your books on Amazon a few days ago. In three days, I've read both NFH books, TD&L, and Without Regret. The laundry is piling up, but I can't stop! You can't write them fast enough for me. I'd love for you to continue Joshua's story. I'm dying to know what happened to him! Thanks for pursuing your love of writing!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Erin. I'm having that laundry problem right now as well, lol, but I'm in a good spot in the new NFH book and don't want to stop. Joshua's story will continue, but he will not be getting his own book for a while. I have plans for him :)
ReplyDeleteThat blows my mind! I adore NFH. After the confession though, I have to ask: You aren't withholding any books from us are you? :)
ReplyDeleteLol, no :)
ReplyDeleteThank God you published! I discovered your books last month when I downloaded Playing for Keeps free from Smashwords. Right now I'm reading it and loving it to bits. I got the book #2 too. Got Tall, Dark and Lonely (for free, with my undying gratitude to you hehe), again from Smashwords. Just heard that A Neighbor from Hell series is continuing (YAY!!!). Oh man, I can't wait, seriously!! :p
